First, what are "items"?

Items is what I call the individual concepts, aids and tools, resources, communities, organizations, and social media accounts. So, for example, an item is a specific account, of a specific tool. It's an umbrella term I use ofr these kinds of things.

How do I find new items?

There are 2 ways to find new items on this website:

  1. Even though it's only available in Dutch right now, you could go to the Recent items page. Here you can find all the recently added or changed items. You can use the relevant menus and buttons to make it show what you want.
  2. Go to the information page you're interested in (for example, the Glossary) and select the relevant option in the sort menu. YOu can choose the option "Nieuwste eerst" for the most recently added items, or the option "Meest recent bijgewerkt" for the items that were most recently changed.

Recently added features

Below is an overview of all the new features and pages. The order goes from most to least recent. Disclaimer: I could forget to add things here, so please keep that in mind. Also, the Dutch version will probably be more up to date.

May 2026

May 12th

  • A button has been added to each item and additional information page with which you can request me to give priority to that specific item or page.
  • Er is nu een knop bij ieder item en op iedere uitgebreidere uitleg pagina waarmee je kan aangeven dat je wil dat ik daar prioriteit aan geef.
  • The pages "What's new" (this page!) and Recente items were added.
  • The order of the pages in Handige informatie has been changed.

May 11th

  • The page Zoeken has been added. It's only available in Dutch for now.
  • A few more pages were translated to English, including Terms and Conditions and About Baken.
  • The links that send you to a new tab now have an arrow next to it. This way you can see what will happen before you click the link.
  • You'll now get a popup when you try to switch to the English version of a page when that page doesn't exist in English (yet).
